Pulmonary regurgitation

The velocity of the regurgitant jet at the end of diastole (after the a wave) represents the end-diastolic pressure gradient between pulmonary artery and right ventricle. Adding right atrial pressure gives an estimate of pulmonary artery diastolic pressure.
