To assess the concordance and discordance between the core Alzheimer disease (AD) CSF biomarkers and [18F]fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-PET patterns evaluated clinically in memory clinic patients who meet appropriate use criteria for AD biomarker investigations. White matter hyperintensities (WMHs) are frequent imaging features of small vessel disease (SVD) and related to poor clinical outcomes. WMH progression over time is well described, but regression was also noted recently, although the frequency and associated factors are unknown. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to assess longitudinal intraindividual WMH volume changes in sporadic SVD.

There are significant racial disparities in stroke in the United States, with Black individuals having a higher risk of incident stroke even when adjusted for traditional stroke risk factors. It is unknown whether Black individuals are also at a higher risk of recurrent stroke.

Rituximab is used widely for relapse prevention in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG)-IgG-associated disease (MOGAD); however, data regarding the effectiveness and safety of long-term rituximab use in these conditions are limited. In this study, we sought to evaluate long-term clinical outcomes in patients with aquaporin-4 IgG-seropositive (AQP4-IgG+) NMOSD and MOGAD treated with rituximab.

AB Metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD) is a rare inherited lysosomal disorder. The condition progresses relentlessly, with severe disability typically established within 6-14 years of symptom onset. There is no cure, and limited treatment options are available to slow disease progression.

AB Altered mental status in immunosuppressed patients has a wide differential diagnosis. In this case, a 27-year-old man presented with encephalopathy, nausea, vomiting, and fevers. His medical history was significant for acute myeloid leukemia in remission after allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation 17 months prior complicated by graft vs host disease affecting his skin treated with sirolimus.
