Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic disease. Oxytocin is a neuropeptide hormone that impacts fear, and social recognition. Intranasal administration of oxytocin can be utilized to treat PWS patients. The results of published trials assessing the effects of intranasal oxytocin in PWS are variable.
