The international, interdisciplinary journal Mathematical Social Sciences publishes original research articles, survey papers, short notes and book reviews. The journal emphasizes the unity of mathematical modelling in economics, psychology, political sciences, sociology and other social sciences. Topics of particular interest include the logic of individual knowledge, choice, and preference, decision under risk and uncertainty, collective choice and representation, voting and implementation, justice and inequality, theories of measurement for the social sciences, planning and organization, social networks, game theory, evolutionary theory and more generally the study of the equilibrium and disequilibrium of socioeconomic systems.
