Fibrous tumor of pleura

Panel A: CT scan shows a large left posterior chest mass (arrow). Panels B and C: Decubitus views, from the same patient, show the extreme mobility and pliability of this tumor. The left lateral decubitus view (panel B) and right lateral decubitus view (panel C) show that the tumor is now abutting the mediastinal contour and has moved to abut the anterior chest wall. These features are nearly diagnostic of a fibrous tumor of the pleura.
