Plantar tarsometatarsal ligaments and plantar metatarsal ligaments

The plantar tarsometatarsal ligaments and plantar metatarsal ligaments are shown above. Note the absence of a plantar metatarsal ligament between the base of the first and second metatarsals. The Plantar Lisfranc ligament (arrow) runs obliquely from the medial cuneiform to the base of the second metatarsal.
