Reported Use
Treatment of gastrointestinal, biliary, and uterine spasms; spasm relief secondary to dysmenorrhea or vomiting; gastrointestinal tract relaxation prior to gastric endoscopy or gastro-intestinal radiography.
Dosage Range
Spasmodic treatment
: Oral:
Children 6 to 12 years: 15 to 30 mg three times daily.
Adolescents: Refer to adult dosing.
Adults: 30 to 60 mg 3 times daily. May administer 90 mg as a single dose during an acute spasmotic episode.
