Reported Use

Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis to reduce the risk of vertebral fractures; treatment of severe osteoporosis in men at increased risk of fracture due to age/bone mineral density (BMD) score

Dosage Range

Adults: 2 g/day dissolved in water, prior to bedtime, 2 hours after eating (preferably)

Dosage adjustment in renal impairment: CrCl <30 mL/minute: Not recommended
