Reported Use

Alternative or adjunctive treatment for hypertriglyceridemia (Fredrickson type IV hyperlipoproteinemia) and hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia (Fredrickson type IIb hyperlipoproteinemia) in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments such as statins or fibrates.

Dosage Range

Adults: Oral: 500-750 mg/day in divided doses with meals
