Intercostal nerve block ultrasound

For ultrasound-guided intercostal nerve block, the tip of the needle is placed between the internal intercostal muscle and the innermost intercostal muscle, as shown by the tip of the arrow in this image. LA should be visualized spreading the two muscles apart.
