Reported Use

For maintenance therapy of bronchial asthma and/or reversible airway obstruction (including chronic bronchitis and emphysema).

Dosage Range

Oral:

Children 2 to <6 years: 10 mg once daily; due to differences in kinetics, doses of 5 mg once daily are recommended in Asian children.

Children 6 to 12 years: 10 to 20 mg once daily; due to differences in kinetics, initial doses of 5 mg once daily are recommended in Asian children and doses >10 mg are not recommended.

Adolescents and Adults: 10 to 20 mg once daily.
