This 19-year-old woman sustained a deep partial-thickness grease burn to her chest, treated by sheet grafting. After developing hypertrophic scarring over her sternum, she underwent two pulsed dye laser sessions, followed by two fractional carbon dioxide laser sessions, with complete resolution of her hyperemia, itching, and paresthesias. Shown are preoperation and follow-up photos at 22 months.
