Cardiac arrhythmia or arrest
Circulatory collapse
Seizures
Unconsciousness
Anaphylaxis
Hospitalization required
¶ HSG premedication for mild contrast reaction:
Prednisone 50 mg orally, given 13, 7, and 1 hour(s) prior to contrast
Diphenhydramine 50 mg orally, given 1 hour prior to contrast
