SEER incidence and US death rates* for cancer of the thyroid, both sexes

Regression lines are calculated using the Joinpoint Regression Program version 4.1.0, April 2014, National Cancer Institute. Joinpoint analyses for White and Black populations during the 1975 to 2012 period allow a maximum of five joinpoints. Analyses for other ethnic groups during the period 1992 to 2012 allow a maximum of three joinpoints.

Incidence data for Hispanic people are based on NHIA and exclude cases from the Alaska Native Registry. Mortality data for Hispanic people exclude cases from New Hampshire and Oklahoma.
