CT trapezium palmar ridge fracture

The transverse view CT (computed tomography) image above was obtained in a 28-year-old patient who trapped his left hand in a plastic molding press. The image shows flattening of the distal carpal row and a fracture (arrow) of the palmar ridge of the trapezium.
