Condylomata acuminata of the anus in a child

This picture demonstrates circumferential condylomata acuminata of the anus in a prepubertal child caused by human papilloma virus. Transmission may be sexual or nonsexual. Consultation with a child abuse specialist is warranted to determine the need for further evaluation for sexual abuse.
