Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in a patient with limbic encephalitis
Fifty-six-year-old female presenting with a 3-month history of faciobrachial dystonic seizures and progressive mood and cognitive changes. Serum and CSF revealed anti-LGI1 antibodies. Axial and coronal MRI at initial visit show increased fluid FLAIR signal abnormalities in the bilateral mesial temporal lobes (arrows).
