Capnogram artifact due to water trap

Capnograms during mechanical ventilation. The endotracheal tube was partially obstructed and peak pressure in the circuit was 50 cm H₂0. The waveforms indicate a brief expiration during mechanical inspiration.

PCO₂: partial pressure of carbon dioxide; H₂O: water.
