MRI grade four stress fracture of tibia

The MRI image above demonstrates a grade four stress fracture of the tibia. This image is a T2-weighted coronal view with fat suppression that shows a focus of marrow edema traversed by a dark fracture line (arrow). Surrounding soft-tissue edema is also present.
