Salivary gland massage

To perform salivary gland massage, place two fingers over the gland and sweep them along the course of the salivary gland duct, applying gentle pressure. In the case of the parotid gland (A), start at the angle of the jaw and move forward, toward the mouth at the level of the upper jaw. In the case of the submandibular gland (B), start under the jaw and move forward, toward the front of the jaw.
