Tdap: tetanus and reduced diphtheria toxoids, and acellular pertussis; Td: tetanus and reduced diphtheria toxoids; DTaP: diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, and acellular pertussis; DTwP: diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, and whole-cell pertussis; DT: diphtheria and tetanus toxoids.
* Tdap should be used for at least one dose of the catch-up series, preferably the first. Either Td or Tdap may be used for the remaining doses.[2]
