Acute left basal ganglia hemorrhage measured by the ABC/2 method. A is 6 cm, B is 4 cm, and C is 3 cm (hematoma is seen on 12 slices [10 full and 4 half] with a slice thickness of 0.25 cm). Hematoma volume is 36 cc ([6×4×3]/2).
