Uncomplicated pregnancy refers to pregnancy in which there is no hypertension or diabetes before or during pregnancy, no preeclampsia or HELLP, no preterm birth (before 37 weeks), stillbirth, placental anomalies, or preexisting thrombocytopenic disorders. Mean platelet counts were higher in non-Hispanic Black females than in Hispanic and White females and higher in younger females than in older females.
