• Alcohol: Tincture is 77% alcohol; use caution.

Other warnings/precautions:

• Self-medication (OTC use): Patients should be instructed to discontinue use and contact health care provider if sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days; rash, swelling, or fever develops; or irritation, pain, or redness worsens or persists.
