Evaluation of menopausal status in patients with breast cancer on tamoxifen therapy with abnormal uterine bleeding^* or amenorrhea

AUB: abnormal uterine bleeding; E2: estradiol; FSH: follicle-stimulating hormone.

* AUB is defined as uterine bleeding in a premenopausal patient that varies from a normal menstrual cycle by frequency, regularity, volume, or duration or any uterine bleeding in a postmenopausal patient. Any volume of abnormal bleeding that meets these criteria is AUB, including brown, pink, or red staining or spotting.
