Ultrasound of lateral elbow tendinopathy

The image above is taken from an ultrasound study of a patient with lateral elbow tendinopathy. A small tear near the origin of the common wrist extensor tendon appears as a thin, irregular, dark (hypoechoic) strip (arrow).
