Lymphatic drainage of the lower limb

The lymph nodes of the lower extremities consist of the popliteal and inguinal nodes. The inguinal lymph nodes are located in the femoral triangle and are grouped into superficial and deep (subinguinal) lymph nodes, relative to the deep fascia.
