(A) The cyst is palpated and borders are marked prior to the excision. (B and C) An incision overlying the cyst is made, and the cyst is then bluntly dissected from the surrounding tissue. (D and E) Once dissected, the cyst is removed with manual pressure through the incision cyst, and the resulting defect is sutured.
