Pericallosal artery

Pericallosal artery
The normal appearance of the corpus callosum (CC) in a fetus at 20 weeks 3 days gestation. The pericallosal arteries are seen superior to the corpus callosum following its superior inner border. This image is from a variant of high definition Doppler technology termed "slow-flow," which enables a more accurate evaluation of the pericallosal artery, eliminating most artifacts and selectively distinguishing between noise and valid flow signal.
CC: corpus callosum, CSP: cavum septi pellucidi
