Diastolic blood pressure J-curve in patients with and without a history of coronary revascularization

Diastolic blood pressure J-curve in patients with and without a history of coronary revascularization
In the International Verapamil SR-Trandolapril (INVEST) trial, history of coronary revascularization appeared to reduce the rise in the primary outcome of death, myocardial infarction, or stroke at diastolic blood pressure <70 to 75 mmHg, which suggests that low diastolic blood pressure contributes to adverse outcomes.
* Coronary artery bypass graft or percutaneous coronary intervention.
