These T2-weighted images are from a patient who presented with sarcoidosis of bone.
(A) T2-weighted image demonstrates hyper-intense rounded forms of various sizes in the bone marrow consistent with sarcoid lesions.
(B) Axial T2-weighted image demonstrates a low signal intensity area of pathologic fracture with callus through a lytic sarcoid lesion in the left inferior pubic ramus surrounded by adductor muscle edema.
