Secondary stent placement to prevent migration

Secondary stent placement to prevent migration
The angiograms show initial poor stent placement requiring insertion of a second stent. The stenotic lesion is seen at the junction of the subclavian and brachiocephalic veins (A; arrow). The initial stent placement (B; dashed arrows) was poorly positioned and at risk for migration. A second stent (C; thick arrows) was placed to treat the lesion to secure the first stent (arrowheads) to prevent migration.
