Stent placement to treat angioplasty-associated venous rupture
The angiograms show the use of a stent to treat rupture associated with angioplasty. Rupture of a vein occurred during angioplasty of a hemodialysis access (A; arrow). A covered stent was placed to control bleeding (B; dashed arrow). The completed angiogram shows restoration of flow (C; arrowheads) with no extravasation.
