Mid-shaft humeral fracture resulting in brachial artery injury
The plain radiograph shows a left mid-shaft humeral fracture resulting from a fall. On admission the patient had a pulse deficit on physical exam, which prompted a CT angiogram. Complete occlusion of the brachial artery adjacent to the fracture site was demonstrated on angiography and confirmed at exploration.
