Sarcoidosis affecting the shoulder: Magnetic resonance imaging

Patient presented with left shoulder pain with a normal radiograph. MRI T1 (panel A) showed the lesion that was biopsied to exclude malignancy (arrow). Biopsy reported as noncaseating granulomas – sarcoid.
