Horizontal shoulder abduction with dumbbell
The horizontal shoulder abduction exercise is used to strengthen the scapular stabilizing muscles. In this video, it is performed unilaterally using a dumbbell for resistance, but the exercise can be performed bilaterally as well as standing using resistance tubing.
