Inpatient management for adult patients with acute hepatic encephalopathy

* For patients who are being treated with systemic antibiotics, rifaximin is not added to the treatment regimen.
¶ At the time of discharge, patients and their caregivers are provided with written instructions for dosing and administration of drug therapy.
