Optic disc pallor and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer thinning in a patient with MOGAD

Optic disc pallor and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer thinning in a patient with MOGAD
Five months after the onset of bilateral optic neuritis in a patient with MOGAD, there is evidence of optic disc pallor involving the right eye (A1) and left eye (A2) on fundus photographs and thinning of the pRNFL on optical coherence tomography (B), as illustrated by the average pRNFL thickness (shaded in red) of 59 micrometers in the right eye (termed OD) and 60 micrometers in left eye (termed OS).
MOGAD: myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease; pRNFL: peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer.
