Tunnel between esophagus and posterior vagus nerve after cruroplasty
Tunnel between esophagus and posterior vagus nerve after cruroplasty
After hiatal dissection and cruroplasty, a tunnel is bluntly created between the posterior esophageal wall and the posterior vagal trunk at or within 5 mm above the esophagogastric junction. This space should not be dissected too widely to help keep the magnetic sphincter in place after implantation.
