This pair of photos of a patient with Werner syndrome provides a sense of the rapid progression of Werner syndrome with the acquisition of features of advanced chronologic age over 3 decades, from age 15 (A) to age 48 (B). Note the rounded face; sharp features; graying, thinning, and loss of scalp and eyebrow hair; and thin, atrophic arms.
