Noncontrast head CT shows a large right holohemispheric subdural hematoma on axial (A) and coronal (B) images. Mass effect from hematoma causes a right-to-left midline shift (line) and subfalcine herniation (arrowhead). Axial image through the temporal lobes (C) shows uncal herniation with compression of the cerebral peduncles (arrow).
