Forty-nine-year-old who presented with headache and visual field deficit. Noncontrast CT (A) and transverse axial T2-weighted (B) and FLAIR (C) MRIs show a midline mass (arrows) containing protein-rich fluid. Pre- (D and F) and postcontrast (E and G) T1-weighted MRIs show a thin rim of enhancement of the suprasellar cystic component and small nodular foci (thick arrows) of enhancing tumor compressing the pituitary gland (G; arrowhead). Histopathology revealed masses of epithelial cells with peripheral palisading columnar cells, consistent with adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma.
