The Cancer-Immunity Cycle

The generation of immunity to cancer is a cyclic process that can be self-propagating and cumulative with amplification and broadening of the T cell response. There are also inhibitory factors (not shown) that lead to regulatory feedback mechanisms that can curtail the immune response.
