Standing lunge exercise
There are several variations of the lunge exercise. The standing lunge shown here is a basic exercise that helps to increase strength and balance. Important elements include keeping the trunk tall and straight and ensuring that the hip, knee, and feet stay aligned (ie, the knee does not cave in) throughout the movement.
