Grashey AP radiograph of shoulder

Grashey AP radiograph of shoulder
To obtain a true AP, or Grashey, view of the shoulder, the x-ray beam is directed at a 40- to 45-degree angle in a medial-to-lateral direction with the plate positioned just posterior and parallel to the scapular body. The figure above shows how a patient is positioned to obtain this view.
AP: anteroposterior.
