Papillary craniopharyngioma

Papillary craniopharyngioma
Post-contrast coronal (A) and sagittal (B) MRI images of a 62-year-old female with headache and bitemporal hemianopsia. These images demonstrate a homogeneously and intensely enhancing solid mass (dashed arrows) in the suprasellar cistern, separate from the pituitary gland (thick arrows). The optic chiasm (A, short arrows) is draped over the mass. Histopathology revealed a papillary craniopharyngioma.
MRI: magnetic resonance imaging.
