Target sign in an infant with hypertrophic pyloric stenosis

Axial ultrasound image through the pylorus demonstrates the "target sign" with concentric hypertrophy of the pyloric muscle. Pyloric muscle thickness of ≥3 mm (bracket) is abnormal and indicates hypertrophic pyloric stenosis.
