Cerebellar hemangioblastoma

Three examples of cerebellar hemangioblastoma.

Case 1 (A): Postcontrast axial T1-weighted MRI shows a hypointense cystic lesion in left cerebellar hemisphere with an intensely-enhanced nodule abutting the pia (asterisk).

Case 2 (B, C) and 3 (D, E): Two other cases demonstrate intensely-enhancing inferior vermian cerebellar masses (asterisks) on postcontrast T1-weighted axial (C) and sagittal (E) MRI. On axial T2-weighted MRI (B, D), round and linear hypointensities (arrowheads) represent flow-voids in dilated vessels adjacent to or within the tumor.
