Rates of death and graft loss after kidney transplantation in the United States, 1996 to 2018, according to years after transplantation
Panels A and B show rates of death among recipients of grafts from living donors and deceased donors, respectively, and panels C and D show rates of graft loss among recipients of grafts from living donors and deceased donors, respectively. The rates are shown for 4 periods: less than 1 year after transplantation, 1 to less than 5 years after transplantation, 5 to less than 10 years after transplantation, and 10 to less than 20 years after transplantation. There were reductions in short- and long-term death rates and graft loss rates from 1996 to 2018.
