"Mildly
thick" or "level 2" liquids – Nectar-thick, will pour easily off
of a spoon or run through the tines of a fork. It will leave a thin coat on the
spoon.
"Moderately
thick" or "level 3" liquids – Honey-thick, will slowly drip
through the tines of a fork or come off of a spoon in drips or dollops.
"Extremely
thick" or "level 4" liquids – Pureed or pudding-thick, will sit
on a fork or spoon and not pour off. It is hard to drink extremely thick
liquids with a straw.
